London, UK — If you’re listing products on your Site.World site, you’re already doing great — people can message you, ask questions, or call/WhatsApp you about your items. But what if a visitor could just click “Buy now”, pay you instantly, and you’d be one step closer to closing the sale?
That’s where payment links come in. You don’t need to build a full checkout or install a complex e-commerce plugin. Instead, you pick a payment platform, create a link for each product (or service), drop that link into your product listing on Site.World, and you’re set. Easy.
Here’s how it works step-by-step:
Choose a payment platform (one of the six below).
Open or create a business account (usually free).
Create a payment link for your product: name, price, maybe shipping/tax.
Copy the link.
On your Site.World site: edit your product section as show in the screen below → paste the link (on a button or hyperlink) + label it like “Pay now” or “Buy now”.
Publish your site changes. When a visitor clicks the link, they’ll go to the payment page and the sale is done.

Now let’s walk through the six platforms — each one is slightly different, so pick whichever fits you best (or offer several so your customers have options).
Why use it?
Stripe is a very popular, flexible platform used by many online stores. It supports payment links easily.
Steps to set it up:
Sign up (or log in) to your Stripe Dashboard and set up your business account.
In the Dashboard (left menu) go to “Payment Links” (or under “Payments” → “Payment Links”).
Click + Create (or “New link”). Choose either: fixed price product (name, price, currency), or let customer choose amount (for donations/tips).
Fill in product details.
Click “Create link”. Stripe will generate a URL.
Copy the URL.
On your Site.World product listing: add a hyperlink or button labelled “Buy now” which points to that URL.
Publish your change.
Whenever someone clicks that link, they’ll be taken to Stripe’s checkout. Once payment completes, you’ll see it in your Stripe account.
Why use it?
Very recognisable brand — customers often trust PayPal, which can help you convert better.
Steps to set it up:
Sign in or create a PayPal Business account.
In your dashboard, go to Accept Payments → Payment Links or Buttons.
Choose options: product/service name, price, currency, optionally shipping or tax.
PayPal will give you a shareable link (and often embed-code for a “Buy now” button).
Copy the link (or embed-code).
On your Site.World product page: paste the link (maybe label the button “Pay with PayPal”) or embed the button.
Publish.
When a visitor clicks it, they’ll go to PayPal’s checkout and you’ll get the payment.
Why use it?
If you already use Square (for in-person payments, invoices etc) then using it for links keeps everything in one place.
Steps to set it up:
Log in or set up your Square business account.
In Square Dashboard go to Payments/Online → look for Payment Links.
Create a link: specify item name, amount, currency.
Copy the link.
On your Site.World product listing: add a “Buy now” button or hyperlink pointing to that link.
Publish your site change.
Now the link directs the buyer through Square’s checkout.
Why use it?
Cash App (by Block) gives small business users a “$Cashtag” and a payment page/link. Very simple for smaller-volume businesses.
Steps to set it up:
Create (or convert to) a Cash App Business account. You’ll get a unique $Cashtag (e.g., “$MyBusiness”).
Your payment page link will be something like https://cash.me/$YourCashtag (you can append an amount parameter).
Copy this link.
On your Site.World product page: add a “Pay with Cash App” link or button pointing to that URL.
Publish.
When customer clicks, they’ll go to that Cash App page and make payment.
Why use it?
Venmo is widely used especially by younger audiences. Their business profile supports shareable links/
Steps to set it up:
In the Venmo mobile app or website, set up a Business Profile (you’ll supply business info, link bank, etc).
The business profile gives you a custom payment link or QR code for your customers.
Copy the link.
On your Site.World product listing: paste the link.
Publish.
Your customer clicks (or scans), pays via Venmo, you get the payment.
Why use it?
If your bank supports Zelle and you’re selling to US customers you know/trust, Zelle is quick because funds move very fast (often instantly).
Important note: Zelle is primarily for payments between people who know each other. It may have less buyer-protection or checkout features than full merchant platforms — so use it when you’re comfortable with the buyer or selling to customers you’ve already vetted.
Steps to set it up:
Ensure your business bank account supports Zelle and is enrolled. Often you’ll go to your bank’s mobile app → Pay & Transfer → Zelle.
In many apps you can generate your Zelle QR code or link (in the Zelle section pick “Show my QR code” or similar).
Copy that link.
On your Site.World product page: you could insert the link.
Publish.
When a customer scans or uses that info in their Zelle app, payment will arrive in your bank account.
You certainly don’t need to offer all six — start with one or two you’re comfortable with. Here’s a quick comparison:
|
Platform |
Best For |
|
Stripe |
Multiple items, serious online store |
|
PayPal |
Solo sellers, customers who know PayPal |
|
Square |
If already using Square, unified payments |
|
Cash App |
Micro-sales, simple product offerings |
|
Venmo |
Targeting younger audience, social style |
|
Zelle |
Trusted customers, quick bank transfers |
Tip: Starting simple is okay. You might put a “Buy now” link for Stripe or PayPal first. Then if you see customers asking “Can I pay via Venmo or Cash App?” you can add those.
Putting a payment link next to each product on your Site.World site makes that listing actionable. Instead of “Send me a message to buy”, your visitor can click “Pay now” and you close the loop. It reduces friction, builds trust, and speeds up sales.
Make sure your link text/button is clear (e.g., “Pay with PayPal”, “Buy now via Stripe”, “Pay with Venmo”). And test each link yourself (click it, pay a small amount, confirm it reaches you).
Once you’ve got this setup, you’re well on your way to a smoother, more professional checkout experience — straight from your Site.World site.
Happy selling! 🎉
